Abundance

What is abundance for you and me,

Could it be simply sitting still under a tree,

Is it the freedom you feel when you are into the flow,

Is it a car? a home, wealth you can show?

What is abundance? Is it feeling the warmth of a friend?

Is it a snowfall that seems to have no end?

Is it the feeling of love that we discover have inside?

Compassion, joy or a deep sense of pride,

What is abundance? Is it the feeling of being free?

Sitting right there under that beautiful tree,

Is it music or art or a wonderful meal?

Is it observing the wonderful movements of a seal?

Is it a loyal companion, a dog or a horse,

Or is it the finality of a recent divorce?

Abundance has many flavors, that we can take home,

Just like our fingerprints, they all have a home.
